Unlike many similar programmes, bnbMax was designed by a property owner who understands the needs of small businesses that offer holiday accommodation rentals. The software package is easy to use and can save time and money in many situations.
For example, many rental or hotel management programmes display reservations as coloured rows on a calendar grid. bnbMax follows the same logic, but allows the user to set up additional rows for each accommodation unit:
When there is a clash in the dates of several enquiries for the same unit, the owner often needs to make a quick decision which client to prefer or whether an earlier request was committed to. Programmes that have only one row for each unit can only show a 'yes / no' availability situation, while bnbMax can display the full picture at any given moment. The reservations are marked on the calendar with six colours that represent the status of each request.
Like other features of bnbMax, the status titles may be customised by each user through the 'Options and settings' dialog box.
bnbMax offers powerful and friendly functions in managing the lists of accommodation units, guests, revenues and expenditure. In addition, it includes some simple accounting functions and generates various reports. Most documents can be printed or exported to RTF and XLS formats.
